ACEO's: More Mini Villages

Despite the continued wet, windy and cold weather here in the UK, I have been working on some new, bright and sunny ACEO creations. The first is called "Village on the Hill" and the second is "Village by the River."

Happy Easter!

Firstly, I hope you all had a good Easter!

I have been working hard in the studio lately, and have just completed three new ACEOs, which are all to be sold on Ebay. Do visit 'Fairweather-Designs' at Ebay to see all the work that I currently have for sale!

I love this first piece, called "Sunset." The sky has worked so well, and the warm colours look just like so many sunsets that I have watched on summmer days...

With spring on its way (although it seems so far off yet, with all the snow we have had this past few days!) I am becoming ever aware of the changing seasons. These new ACEOs are called "Autumn Time" and "Spring Time."

Dreaming of summer... some new ACEOs

It is still pretty cold here in the UK right now but I think I am dreaming of the warmer days of summer already in my latest ACEOs, "The Lighthouse" and "Summer Day"!

... or maybe even a holiday abroad...!

These two pieces are called "Tuscan Countryside" and "Tuscan Village."

Special Easter ACEOs

I'm feeling rather 'Eastery' at the moment, so I have created some special Easter ACEOs; the design is similar to the Bethlehem Collection, which I created for Christmas (see my earlier posts in November and December 2007!) These two new pieces are particularly special because they can be joined to create a long continuous scene.

I have been very busy in the studio creating more miniature paintings. Here are my latest pieces; the first is called "Mini England":

I've also been busy creating some more tiny miniature 1" x 1" paintings; I really love to paint on such a small scale!

A Special Silver ACEO

Firstly today, a special ACEO, which I have created using silver gouache to paint the stars. The overall effect is so pretty - especially when the little silver stars catch the light.

I have also been working with textiles once again:

The final piece to tell you about today is called "Farmhouse." I love the result here - the patterns created by the fields have worked so well:

New miniature 1 inch art!

I loved painting the little 1 inch pieces earlier this week, so decided to paint a few more. As always, my work will be for sale on Ebay, so do check out 'fairweather-designs' there!

Finally today am really excited, as I have been creating some new pieces using TEXTILES along with watercolours. I am so pleased with the results :o)

New ACEOs - one of my favourites
